Special Reminder for Graduate Assistants

If you’re a Graduate Assistant with an appointment that runs through the UIC winter break, you do not have to make up your hours if they fall on the UIC-recognized holidays when the campus is closed.  According to the UIC Human Resources Calendar, the University will be officially closed on Wednesday, December 25th; Thursday, December 26th; and Wednesday, January 1st.

If your normal work hours fall on any of those days, you do not have to make up those hours.  Please feel free to contact the GEO with any questions at geo@uic-geo.net or 312-733-9641.
