Opening for a Teaching Assistant for Abnormal Psychology

“We are in need of a Visiting Teaching Assistant (TA) for Abnormal
Psychology. TA duties include grading (exams, assignments, and  papers),
assisting students with the development of their papers, holding office
hours, and attending TA meetings. The TA must also attend class. The class
meets from 2-3:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays on the east side of campus. The
available appointment is 25% which equates to an average of 10 hours of
work per week over the course of the semester. Degree seeking students are
eligible for a tuition waiver for the fall semester. The rate of pay is
approximately $3,000 for the semester (depending on the start date of the
appointment)

First preference will be given to those who have a background in psychology
(i.e. B.A. or B.S. in Psych), but others with a social science/ mental
health background will also be considered. Review of applications will
